Angélica Dominguez

Angélica joined Dumont Bergman Bider & Co. on January 2014 as analyst of Patent Filing Department and currently she manages the Patent Filing Department. She has a broad experience in the Industrial Property field since 1998 in different IP and full service firms.

Her professional practice is mainly focused in filing and formal prosecution of Patents, Industrial Designs and Utility Models. Further aspects of her practice comprise the consultancy and recordal of transfer of rights, change of owner/applicant’s name, merges and licenses of patents as well as general advice directed to the protection of inventions in Mexico.

As manager of the Patent Filing Department, she is responsible of the consultancy, filing and administrative process of the portfolio of Patents, Industrial Designs and Utility Models of foreign clients of the firm.


She studied Business and attended several courses offered by the Mexican Industrial Property Institute (IMPI), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) related to Patents, PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty), Industrial Designs, Utility Models and Trademarks.


Angelica is a regular attendee to AIPLA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, INTA Annual Meeting in different locations.
