Erick joined Dumont in 2019 as a patent analyst and specializes in performing technical analysis and client counselling for responding to official actions issued during the substantive examination stage of Mexican patent applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical areas. In addition, he performs Freedom-to-Operate and Patentability Opinions in his areas of expertise. Other aspects of his practice include the prosecution of patent applications in Latin America. Before joining Dumont, Erick worked at the Mexican Patent Office delivering prior art search reports for inventions.
