Francisco joined Dumont in 2013 and currently serves as the firm’s Civil, Commercial, and Criminal Litigation Manager. He holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), specialized in Amparo Law at the Universidad Panamericana and Civil Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, as well as a Master’s degree in Law from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He has complemented his academic training with various diploma courses, including Oral Trials in Civil, Commercial, and Family matters, Amparo trial, and the Accusatory and Oral Criminal System, offered by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, and the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Penales (INACIPE).

He is a practicing attorney with experience in civil and commercial litigation, mainly in disputes related to the breach and interpretation of civil and commercial contracts, insurance and surety bonds, corporate disputes, shareholder conflicts, enforcement of guarantees (trusts, pledges, and mortgages), unfair competition proceedings, claims for damages and losses, moral damages, civil liability, financial disputes, enforcement of financial transactions and negotiable instruments, as well as the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, within others.

In addition, he has experience in criminal law, focusing mainly on legal counsel for the proper defense in property-related crimes and on the design and implementation of anti-counterfeiting strategies for the protection and enforcement of the intellectual property rights of the firm’s clients, litigating before the Attorney General’s Office and the Federal Courts.

He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association.
